Upon earning his plumbing licenses for St. Louis City and St. Louis County, he was elevated to Job Foreman, taking charge of O.J. Laughlin's significant plumbing projects. After five years as a Field Foreman, he transitioned into the office, where he trained to become both an Estimator and Project Manager. In 2000, Dan was promoted to Vice President, taking responsibility for most commercial, industrial, medical, and healthcare projects. He managed all design/build projects independently. On December 28, 2012, Dan and Bob Laughlin finalized a purchase agreement, transferring sole ownership of O.J. Laughlin Plumbing Company, Inc. to Dan.
