In 2021. I had just lost my employment with the union. I was on assistance, questioning my next steps. Then my little boy fell through a damaged area of the flooring by my mom’s entrance. That incident didn’t just disturb me; it ignited my passion. I didn’t reach out for assistance.
With what little I had left in my 401(k), I bought tools and developed a plan. My first brand was Aljets Handyman Services. It transformed quickly to K&A Home Enhancements, K&A HouseCall Support, and eventually, K&A HouseCall Pro Contractors, established in 2024.
I’ve been buying and selling since I was eight, buying honey sticks for a five cents, selling them for a quarter. My grandfather and his brothers established a multimillion dollar union company from the ground up, which has always motivated me to push harder.

For thirty years, I have worked as a Residential Maintenance Technician with various companies. I am available Monday through Friday in the evenings and on weekends.
