Jim Wagner started his journey as a certified plumber in the year 1962. He passed away in the year 2003, and his eldest son, his son Mike took over and redefined the plumbing business. Mike entered the trade in 1974, assisting his father on Saturdays and Sundays and during the summer months. When he turned 18, he opted to pursue plumbing as his vocation like his father and became licensed in the year 1982.

Sadly, the brother, his brother Bobby left us in February. Bobby is and will always be missed every day of our lives. Currently, Mike and his brother Ron are the two remaining original family plumbers at Wagner Family Plumbing. Lucky for us, Mike is blessed with five children! That’s right! It is our wish is that in the future when the boys are all mature, we will be lucky enough for them to choose to join for their family-owned business as their ancestor, father, and family members have.

Mike started the trade in 1974, working his father on the weekends and during school breaks. After finishing high school, he chose to pursue plumbing as his father did and became licensed in 1982.

Unfortunately, Bobby departed in February 2009. Also, his brother Jim Jr. started his own endeavor in 2010. Currently, Mike and Ron Wagner are the two remaining original family plumbing professionals at our company. Fortunately, he has 5 BOYS! It is our wish is that when the boys are all adults, we will be blessed enough for them to choose to join for their father's company as their grandfather, dad, and uncles have.

I grew up in Riverside, Illinois. At the age of 10, I learned from my stepfather Roy about the ins and outs of plumbing and heating.
