Half a year later, Terry joined the team at a RainSoft dealership in St. Cloud, MN. He later moved to Oelwein, Iowa and secured a role at a RainSoft dealership in Cedar Rapids, IA as a sales manager. The same year, Terry established RainSoft of Oelwein, Inc in Oelwein, IA. In 2006, RainSoft of Oelwein increased and constructed a brand new 6,120 sq. ft. facility in Waterloo, Iowa. This new facility allowed RainSoft of Oelwein, Inc to rebrand RainSoft of NE Iowa. The family operation persisted as our founder Terry welcomed Rachel as the latest vice president of RainSoft of NE Iowa. Come 2016, RainSoft of NE Iowa broadened its reach, now covering Jackson, Clinton, Scott, and Muscatine counties.
Rachel joined the company in 2006 and has been one of the owners since then. Raised in RainSoft, she has been familiar with the brand since birth. She was fortunate to have high-quality water at home and was shocked by the difference in water when she went to! She enrolled at UNI with plans to earn a degree in teaching, but discovered the business world instead. After college, she held a few roles before opting to return to the family company!
