Our founder is a Fifth-gen plumbing professional. Michael has spent years involved with his kin in the plumbing and construction fields in Florida since he could first walk. He literally regularly accompanied service calls with his dad starting at age four years old. Michael's close family boasts more than 16 or more plumbers & nine or more plumbing/general contractors in the Central and South Florida areas tracing back to the late 1800's. The Phillips lineage has participated in plumbing, construction & construction materials that have played a role in creating what we now call Miami Beach also known as ""South Beach"", North Miami, North Miami Beach, as well as many other areas like greater Dade County, Broward County, Palm Beach County and Polk County zones.

Michael's ancestor William S. ""Snooky"" Phillips established ""Miami Plumbing and Heating"" in 1899 in Miami, Florida. His parent was also construction & initial plumbing systems in the mid to late 1800's. While not much is known about him beyond that, family history says he worked in construction and plumbing, employed by railroad tycoon Henry Flagler. Snooky was said to be one of the first plumbing contractors in Florida to be issued a plumbing contractor's license by Dade County, thanks to his father's reported affiliation with Henry Flagler & the fact that at that time there was minimal regulation or plumbing code at any level of government were in place. In those days the contractor's licensing was done at the county level and not at the state level as it currently is. For Michael's family, the term ""Grandfathered In"" has literal meaning.
