Sonny Stokes started our company in 1963 in response to the need for reliable plumbing services locally. Located in Lake Worth, our headquarters and workshop continues to operate under the leadership of Susan, his daughter.

Stokes developed our footprint in South Florida, gaining recognition as a prominent name in developing residential complexes, healthcare and research facilities, government and educational buildings, and private commercial complexes. While we expanded in the construction industry, the necessity of a dedicated service division was clear. Initially beginning with repairs for our own constructions, our HVAC and plumbing service division expanded exponentially. Following the establishment of our General Plumbing division in June 2013, we are now a more significant player in the South Florida area.

In 1995, E.C. Stokes handed over the business to his daughter, Susan, who had been with the company at the company since 1983. Initially working as the receptionist, she advanced her career becoming the bookkeeper, chief estimator, VP, and now President/CEO. She received the state air conditioning license in 1989 and the plumbing license in 1992, establishing herself as the only female mechanical contractor in the county. Susan has received several honors for her achievements as a leader of a woman-owned business while also serving actively on the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board for five years from 1997 to 2002.
