While we grew in construction, the need for a service department became apparent. Starting with the maintenance of the properties we built, Stokes Mechanical's plumbing and air conditioning service department has grown exponentially. Following the establishment of the General Plumbing branch to Stokes in June of 2013, we are now an even greater force across the region.

During 1995, E.C. Stokes passed the leadership to his daughter Susan, who had been part of the team at the company since 1983. Starting out as the front desk staff, she progressed through the ranks to the financial manager, lead estimator, VP, and currently President/CEO. Susan received her air conditioning license back in 1989 as well as the plumbing license in 1992, making her the first the only female mechanical contractor in Palm Beach County. Susan garnered several honors for her accomplishments as a female-owned business leader while also serving actively on the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board from 1997 to 2002.
