Born and raised in Dublin City, Ireland, Liam's journey started. In 1979, at the age of fifteen, Liam began his plumbing career as an apprentice pipe fitter. Liam relocated to Australia in 1984, where he worked as a pipe fitter in oil refineries and chemical facilities. Liam further honed his skills in Holland and England, overseeing major projects before arriving in Orlando in 1990. In 1996, he established Emerald Plumbing. Through dedication and a commitment to quality, the company experienced immediate growth. Today, Liam views the business as a source of pride, much like a father with his child.

My journey in plumbing started when I joined a major plumbing company in Orlando, Florida in 1987. After four years, I emerged as the top revenue earner for Residential/Drain Cleaning and kept that title for the following ten years. I was promoted to Team Leader, Technician Trainer, and served as the Drain Cleaning Troubleshooter for challenging jobs that others often abandoned.

I received Team Member of the Month multiple times each year and earned several annual awards during my 16 years of service. I completed the Apprentice Plumbing Program at Seminole Community College, passed the state exam, and obtained my Journeyman Plumbing license in 1992. Out of 35 technicians at the large plumbing firm, I was one of just three licensed plumbers.

I successfully passed the two-day State Contractor Test on my first try and established Drain Doctor Plumbers Inc. in 2003.
