Liam's journey began in Dublin City, Ireland, where he was raised. In 1979, at the age of fifteen, Liam began his plumbing career as an apprentice pipe fitter. Liam relocated to Australia in 1984, where he worked as a pipe fitter in oil refineries and chemical facilities. Liam further honed his skills in Holland and England, overseeing major projects before arriving in Orlando in 1990. Liam started Emerald Plumbing in 1996. I entered the plumbing industry by working for a large plumbing company in Orlando, Florida in 1987. Within four years, I became the top revenue generator for Residential/Drain Cleaning and maintained that position for the next decade. I advanced to Team Leader, Technician Trainer, and became the go-to Troubleshooter for tough drain cleaning tasks that others would give up on.

Over my 16 years, I was recognized as Team Member of the Month multiple times annually and garnered several yearly awards. I attended Seminole Community College's Apprentice Plumbing Program, successfully passed the state test, and earned my Journeyman Plumbing license in 1992. I stood out as one of only three licensed plumbers out of 35 technicians at the major plumbing company.

I successfully passed the two-day State Contractor Test on my first try and established Drain Doctor Plumbers Inc. in 2003.
