Liam's journey began in Dublin City, Ireland, where he was raised. Liam embarked on his plumbing career in 1979 as a young apprentice pipe fitter at just fifteen. In 1984, he left Ireland for Australia, taking on pipe fitting roles in oil refineries and chemical plants. He also gained experience in Holland and England, managing large projects before settling in Orlando in 1990. In 1996, he established Emerald Plumbing. With hard work and a focus on excellence, the company grew rapidly. Liam feels a deep sense of pride in the company he has created.

I waited three years to see if he would keep his promises. WELL, I AM BACK. Currently, Drain Doctor Plumbing and Drain remains the only plumbing company in Central Florida bold enough to display pricing on its website.

My journey in plumbing started when I joined a major plumbing company in Orlando, Florida in 1987. After four years, I emerged as the top revenue earner for Residential/Drain Cleaning and kept that title for the following ten years. I took on roles as Team Leader, Technician Trainer, and was the Troubleshooter for difficult drain cleaning jobs that other technicians and companies often left unresolved.

Throughout my 16 years, I was honored as Team Member of the Month several times a year and received numerous yearly accolades. I completed the Apprentice Plumbing Program at Seminole Community College, passed the state exam, and obtained my Journeyman Plumbing license in 1992. Out of 35 technicians at the large plumbing firm, I was one of just three licensed plumbers.

Upon passing the two-day State Contractor Test on my first attempt, I launched Drain Doctor Plumbers Inc. in 2003.

In 1975, Frank Bracco established Modern Plumbing Industries, Inc., a family-operated business that originated from his car.
