Born and raised in Dublin City, Ireland, Liam's journey started. He started his plumbing career as a fifteen-year-old apprentice pipe fitter in 1979. Liam relocated to Australia in 1984, where he worked as a pipe fitter in oil refineries and chemical facilities. Liam further honed his skills in Holland and England, overseeing major projects before arriving in Orlando in 1990. Liam started Emerald Plumbing in 1996. Through dedication and a commitment to quality, the company experienced immediate growth. Liam feels a deep sense of pride in the company he has created.

My journey in plumbing started when I joined a major plumbing company in Orlando, Florida in 1987. In just four years, I was the leading revenue producer for Residential/Drain Cleaning and held that title for ten years. I was promoted to Team Leader, Technician Trainer, and served as the Drain Cleaning Troubleshooter for challenging jobs that others often abandoned.

I received Team Member of the Month multiple times each year and earned several annual awards during my 16 years of service. I enrolled in the Apprentice Plumbing Program at Seminole Community College, passed the state examination, and received my Journeyman Plumbing license in 1992. I stood out as one of only three licensed plumbers out of 35 technicians at the major plumbing company.

I successfully passed the two-day State Contractor Test on my first try and established Drain Doctor Plumbers Inc. in 2003.

Moving back to Orlando in 1986, Harvey worked as a heavy equipment operator while Marcia performed clerical work. In 1988, Harvey joined Roto-Rooter. While at Roto-Rooter, Harvey secured his Florida Contractors Plumbing License. He left Roto-Rooter 13 years later for new opportunities.

In 1975, Frank Bracco established Modern Plumbing Industries, Inc., a family-operated business that originated from his car. With this simple start, we pledged to deliver exceptional products and services to the Central Florida region. We began with only two customers in our inaugural year, yet by 1979, we expanded to 10 employees and a growing customer base in Orlando. In 1979, we officially adopted the name Modern Plumbing and Irrigation and soon included US Homes among our notable clients.
