In 1984, he moved to Australia, working as a pipe fitter in oil refineries and chemical plants. My journey in plumbing started when I joined a major plumbing company in Orlando, Florida in 1987. In just four years, I was the leading revenue producer for Residential/Drain Cleaning and held that title for ten years. I was promoted to Team Leader, Technician Trainer, and served as the Drain Cleaning Troubleshooter for challenging jobs that others often abandoned.

I received Team Member of the Month multiple times each year and earned several annual awards during my 16 years of service. I enrolled in the Apprentice Plumbing Program at Seminole Community College, passed the state examination, and received my Journeyman Plumbing license in 1992. I stood out as one of only three licensed plumbers out of 35 technicians at the major plumbing company.

Upon passing the two-day State Contractor Test on my first attempt, I launched Drain Doctor Plumbers Inc. in 2003.
