Brandon transferred to Florida in 2004 to attend Florida Gulf Coast University, where he competed in golf and studied finance. Meanwhile, Rick cultivated a interest for plumbing; he earned his license as a Master Plumber in the same year and launched what would evolve into PRO-TEC Plumbing, Inc.

After graduating from his studies, Brandon contributed in digging Rick's first residential project in the year 2009. He decided to partner with his brother full-time as the company's vice president in the year 2011, managing the operations side of the operation.
