Born and raised in Dublin City, Ireland, Liam's journey started. In 1979, at the age of fifteen, Liam began his plumbing career as an apprentice pipe fitter. In 1984, he left Ireland for Australia, taking on pipe fitting roles in oil refineries and chemical plants. He also gained experience in Holland and England, managing large projects before settling in Orlando in 1990. Liam started Emerald Plumbing in 1996. Thanks to his dedication and commitment to high standards, the company saw quick growth. Today, Liam views the business as a source of pride, much like a father with his child.

I entered the plumbing industry by working for a large plumbing company in Orlando, Florida in 1987. After four years, I emerged as the top revenue earner for Residential/Drain Cleaning and kept that title for the following ten years. I took on roles as Team Leader, Technician Trainer, and was the Troubleshooter for difficult drain cleaning jobs that other technicians and companies often left unresolved.

Over my 16 years, I was recognized as Team Member of the Month multiple times annually and garnered several yearly awards. I enrolled in the Apprentice Plumbing Program at Seminole Community College, passed the state examination, and received my Journeyman Plumbing license in 1992. Out of 35 technicians at the large plumbing firm, I was one of just three licensed plumbers.
