Liam's journey began in Dublin City, Ireland, where he was raised. He started his plumbing career as a fifteen-year-old apprentice pipe fitter in 1979. Liam relocated to Australia in 1984, where he worked as a pipe fitter in oil refineries and chemical facilities. He also gained experience in Holland and England, managing large projects before settling in Orlando in 1990. Liam started Emerald Plumbing in 1996. With hard work and a focus on excellence, the company grew rapidly. Today, Liam takes great pride in the business he has built.

In 2015, I entered into a contract with a new construction plumbing firm in North Seminole County to serve as their Service Division. It became clear that the owner was unwilling to honor the agreement. His goal was to leverage the Drain Doctor name to draw in my clients and regain those he lost to price hikes.

I gave him three years to fulfill his commitments. NOW, I AM BACK. At present, Drain Doctor Plumbing and Drain is the only plumbing service in Central Florida willing to show pricing on its site.

I began my plumbing career with a large plumbing firm in Orlando, Florida in 1987. After four years, I emerged as the top revenue earner for Residential/Drain Cleaning and kept that title for the following ten years. I was promoted to Team Leader, Technician Trainer, and served as the Drain Cleaning Troubleshooter for challenging jobs that others often abandoned.

Over my 16 years, I was recognized as Team Member of the Month multiple times annually and garnered several yearly awards. I enrolled in the Apprentice Plumbing Program at Seminole Community College, passed the state examination, and received my Journeyman Plumbing license in 1992. I was one of only three licensed plumbers among 35 technicians at the large plumbing company.

I successfully passed the two-day State Contractor Test on my first try and established Drain Doctor Plumbers Inc. in 2003.
