Born and raised in Dublin City, Ireland, Liam's journey started. In 1979, at the age of fifteen, Liam began his plumbing career as an apprentice pipe fitter. In 1984, he left Ireland for Australia, taking on pipe fitting roles in oil refineries and chemical plants. After working on significant projects in Holland and England, Liam moved to Orlando in 1990. He founded Emerald Plumbing in 1996. With hard work and a focus on excellence, the company grew rapidly. Liam feels a deep sense of pride in the company he has created.

I signed a contract with a new construction plumbing company in North Seminole County in 2015 to be their Service Division. I soon realized the owner was not committed to upholding the contract. He aimed to use the Drain Doctor name to attract my customers and reclaim those lost to unfair pricing.

I gave him three years to fulfill his commitments. WELL, I AM BACK. Currently, Drain Doctor Plumbing and Drain remains the only plumbing company in Central Florida bold enough to display pricing on its website.

My journey in plumbing started when I joined a major plumbing company in Orlando, Florida in 1987. After four years, I emerged as the top revenue earner for Residential/Drain Cleaning and kept that title for the following ten years. I was promoted to Team Leader, Technician Trainer, and served as the Drain Cleaning Troubleshooter for challenging jobs that others often abandoned.

I received Team Member of the Month multiple times each year and earned several annual awards during my 16 years of service. I attended Seminole Community College's Apprentice Plumbing Program, successfully passed the state test, and earned my Journeyman Plumbing license in 1992. I stood out as one of only three licensed plumbers out of 35 technicians at the major plumbing company.

After passing the two-day State Contractor Test on my first attempt, I founded Drain Doctor Plumbers Inc. in 2003.
