Before establishing WireNut, Trent witnessed the common issues of inadequate customer service and attention to detail in the electrical field. Such poor service stemmed from a lack of training within the construction sector. Customer care and respect for a client’s home were often absent from the vocabulary of many electrical contractors, who focused on larger construction projects. At WireNut, we don’t identify as part of the construction industry; we are truly in the customer service business. Embracing this viewpoint changes the entire approach to business operations from the ground up.

As a licensed master plumber with over 20 years of experience including UPC codes and the up-to-date IPC code. Our services include full service plumbing drain cleaning and video inspection.

I started out in a small town called Preston, Idaho, back in 1998 with a community sewer and drain company. Before this, I worked in construction, such as concrete and insulation, on schools and churches. I became interested in the diverse trades, especially while I was finishing concrete during the summer around fixtures protruding from the ground. I often asked myself how I could gain skills in a craft trade (no offense to the concrete workers). One evening, while helping out at my parents' shop, a plumbing contractor visited to buy some computer parts and asked if we knew anyone interested a summer position that could lead to full-time work. I realized my interest in the trade and finished my 4-year apprenticeship in Nampa, Idaho, and I continued to achieve where I am today.
