Hello, I’m Rex LaBotte. I launched this business in Longmont, CO in September 2000 with a used van and a strong work ethic. Within a month, I secured the Boulder County account and a couple of property management firms. After six months, I added more clients, county services, and various plumbing firms; I earned the title the ""pro's choice"" and worked exclusively for other local businesses. At the close of my first year, my reputation spread through word of mouth to local homeowners and property agents, and I found myself with more work than I could handle.

I hail from southern Illinois, I made my way to San Francisco in 1970, and worked in the shipyards and the corporate moving sector from the late 1970s to early 1980s. I undertook my journeyman apprenticeship with a well-known plumbing company starting in the year 1986, and I spent eight years there. Subsequently, I went back to the shipyards for a time, until 1991 when I encountered my best friend and the person I would love forever, and we relocated to Longmont, Colorado. I was employed by the Boulder County Sheriff's Department and the local government of Longmont before starting Drain Away. The rest is history.
