Roy and his wife, Sarah Ellen ""Judy"" Parkey, were blessed with four children: three sons and one daughter. Their eldest son was Monty, followed by Tim, Mark, and Robin, all born about two years apart. During those early years, ""Judy,"" Tim's mother, handled phone calls while raising their four kids. At just 13, Tim Parkey, the second eldest son, started working weekends and during the summer.

At 15, Tim recognized that this was the direction he wanted for his career. Tim signed up for HVAC classes at Green vocational school in his eleventh grade. Simultaneously, he attended R.S.E.S (Refrigeration Service Engineering School) at night. His teacher at GVS put him in an early advanced job placement during the second quarter of his junior year as an experiment, yielding outstanding results. Finding meaningful work at such a young age was a significant blessing for him. Tim, a diligent worker with a knack for mechanics, found it to be a perfect fit. Driven by a passion for service, he felt he was exactly where he needed to be. Following a back injury, Roy Parkey opted to move to Florida, which enabled Tim to assume ownership of the company at only 18. On February 12, 1973, Tim carried on a legacy that has endured for 37 years.
