My name is Raymond Gray, and I hail from a family deeply rooted in plumbing. My great-grandfather and grandfather were pipe fitters who worked on military vessels for many years. My father was born in 1961, and my grandfather instilled plumbing knowledge in him from a young age. I came into the world in 1977 and remember, at eight years old, crawling beneath homes, playing in the dirt, and observing my dad perform repairs. I started tackling repairs when I was about twelve years old. I wasn’t fond of plumbing initially, but coming from a financially challenged family motivated me to learn the trade.

I left high school, obtained my GED, and moved out. In 2001, I began working with my dad again. In 2004, I established A-1 Total Service Plumbing and have continued forward ever since.
