When we were old enough to hold a hammer, he took me, my older sister, and younger brother to his job sites. I have fond memories of finding scraps of wiring and conduit and making ""art"" with my siblings to keep busy while our Father worked.

We grew up with him leaving family functions to tend to emergencies, constant phone calls and meetings, and of course late work nights. Though he was often busy, he actively participated in our lives, coaching our sports teams, attending every event, and being there when we needed him most.

Upon graduating high school, my father was providing services to residents and businesses in San Diego. I made the move to San Diego and began my journey as my father's assistant.
