Once I finished working with my neighbor, I took a position at a commercial plumbing company, where I cleaned grease traps at restaurants and airports, performed drain cleaning, hydro jetting, and handled service and repairs.
I attended plumbing school at Pasadena City College, where I earned my certificate of completion after a year of classes.
I earned my backflow certification at PHCC.
I got my contractor state license in 2007, and soon after, I launched my own business in 1997.

In 1965, Lloyd obtained his contractor's license and moved to Thousand Oaks to establish Lloyd's Plumbing.

Lloyd stepped back in 1980, passing the reins to his son Ed. Ed aspired to be the best while ensuring a high level of professionalism. He introduced clean trucks, uniformed technicians, friendly customer service receptionists, and a “nothing we can't do, and do well” attitude for the company.
