Lloyd earned his contractor's license in 1965 and relocated to Thousand Oaks to start Lloyd's Plumbing.

Lloyd stepped back in 1980, passing the reins to his son Ed. Ed was inspired to not only be the best but also to maintain professionalism. He implemented clean vehicles, uniformed staff, helpful customer service representatives, and a “we can handle anything” mindset for the company.
