Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, serving Lake and Mendocino Counties, was founded by Stan Kincannon as an independent plumbing business called Super Rooter in 1995. Through the years, Stan discovered the perks of franchising, like transparent pricing, timely guarantees, excellent service warranties, and steady customer feedback, which led him to affiliate with the Clockwork Home Services group as a Benjamin Franklin Plumbing franchise in 2006.

Stan Kincannon hails from the plains of Northeastern Montana (brrr) and relocated to the Bay Area in 1981 to pursue his college education, graduating Cum Laude from John F. Kennedy University with a bachelor’s degree in Holistic Health in 1983. He continued his studies in health, obtaining a Master’s Certificate from the Institute of Experiential Therapy. Stan is happily married and has two grown kids.

Stan’s plumbing career kicked off in the autumn of 1988 at a plumbing wholesale distributor in San Francisco. After moving to Lake County in 1992, he entered the service and repair segment of the plumbing industry. He launched his own business in 1995 and currently holds licenses for California General Contracting (B), Plumbing (C36), and Sanitation Systems (C42). He holds certification as an installer for Rinnai tankless water heaters, Wirsbo Aquapex, and has undergone water heater sizing training with AO Smith, along with certification in water treatment from ProSystems. I began my plumbing career in 2004 and possess extensive knowledge in residential and commercial plumbing. My C-36 plumbing license was awarded to me in 2010 and managed a thriving small business in the SF Bay Area. I moved to Humboldt in 2014 to become the RMO for a plumbing company that had been sold and needed a licensed operator. Observing the business practices and the original staff scatter prompted me to return to my own venture. I sought to offer exceptional craftsmanship, reasonable pricing, and true customer care.

My plumbing education began with a 900-hour training program in the Bay Area. Within a year, I joined the ""commercial team"" at my first company, a notable achievement for them. Years later, I understood that the ideal way to deliver great service at a reasonable cost was to create my own company.
