Spencer Keenan graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Industrial Design. The program provided him with the skills to transform concepts into completed projects and to address issues that come up along the way. Co-owner Taylor, raised on Kauai, has always had a strong interest in construction. At the age of 8, he built his first structure, a tree fort made from reclaimed wood, featuring a drawbridge, bedroom, screened porch, and garage. Following his graduation from UCSC with a politics degree, Taylor pursued his building interests by working for a general contractor in Santa Cruz. He found himself increasingly inspired and driven by the principles of green building.
