I started plumbing in 1990, inspired by my friend’s dad who shared his knowledge with me. I have over 24 years of experience. I started The Plumbing Source and received my license in 2000. I have worked on the East Coast and in California. I enjoy educating and guiding my clients on all aspects of their plumbing needs, sharing my insights before we begin. Born and raised in Paso Robles, CA, I completed my education at Paso Robles High School, achieving perfect attendance and a 3.80 GPA. During high school, I played four years of football (CIF Champions) and participated in track and field (CIF Champions). I also engaged with the Paso Robles Future Farmers of America (FFA), managing multiple projects and holding officer positions. I earned several scholarships and went on to study at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. I initially studied Animal Science before transferring to Mechanical Engineering. While attending college, I was employed by a local water purification company, traveling internationally to design and integrate their products into potential customer facilities. I partnered with my father in 2003 as plumbing contractors focused on Backflow Prevention. I received my plumbing license in 2007 and launched Henry Schmitz Plumbing. Since then, I have been involved with the California State License Board plumbing code review committee and have taken part in numerous community service initiatives.
