Taylor, co-owner, grew up on Kauai and has had a lifelong passion for building. At the age of 8, he built his first structure, a tree fort made from reclaimed wood, featuring a drawbridge, bedroom, screened porch, and garage. After graduating from UCSC with a degree in politics, Taylor continued to explore his building interests by working under a general contractor in Santa Cruz. He found himself increasingly inspired and driven by the principles of green building. Now, as a Certified Green Building Professional, Taylor incorporates his knowledge and skills into all our projects.
