Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, serving Lake and Mendocino Counties, was founded by Stan Kincannon as an independent plumbing business called Super Rooter in 1995. As the years passed, Stan saw the benefits of becoming a franchisee, such as clear pricing, punctual service guarantees, outstanding warranties, and reliable customer feedback, prompting him to join the Clockwork Home Services family as a Benjamin Franklin Plumbing franchise in 2006.
Born and raised in Northeastern Montana (brrr), Stan moved to the Bay Area in 1981 for college, where he earned a Cum Laude degree in Holistic Health from John F. Kennedy University in 1983. He continued his studies in health, obtaining a Master’s Certificate from the Institute of Experiential Therapy. Stan is married and has two adult children.
Stan began his plumbing journey in the fall of 1988, working for a plumbing wholesale distributor in San Francisco. After moving to Lake County in 1992, he entered the service and repair segment of the plumbing industry. He established his business in 1995 and holds licenses for California General Contracting (B), Plumbing (C36), and Sanitation Systems (C42). He holds certification as an installer for Rinnai tankless water heaters, Wirsbo Aquapex, and has undergone water heater sizing training with AO Smith, along with certification in water treatment from ProSystems.
