I entered the plumbing field in 1989, apprenticing with my neighbor on weekends for additional money, unaware that I would grow to cherish plumbing.
Once I finished working with my neighbor, I took a position at a commercial plumbing company, where I cleaned grease traps at restaurants and airports, performed drain cleaning, hydro jetting, and handled service and repairs.
I attended plumbing school at Pasadena City College, where I earned my certificate of completion after a year of classes.
