The program provided him with the skills to transform concepts into completed projects and to address issues that come up along the way. Co-owner Taylor hails from the island of Kauai and has always been passionate about construction. At the age of 8, he built his first structure, a tree fort made from reclaimed wood, featuring a drawbridge, bedroom, screened porch, and garage. Following his graduation from UCSC with a politics degree, Taylor pursued his building interests by working for a general contractor in Santa Cruz. His passion for green building grew stronger and more motivating. As a Certified Green Building Professional, Taylor now integrates his knowledge and experience into all our projects.
