I liked taking apart my bikes, sanding them, and giving them a fresh coat of paint. I built custom cat posts and carpeted them for my family and friends. I have always found satisfaction in hands-on work and creating something from scratch. As a young teen, I was certain I wanted to become a carpenter or custom finisher. By the age of 18, I had experience in retail but felt it wasn't for me. I enjoyed interacting with people but not the job itself. One day, a customer mentioned a plumbing company and encouraged me to apply, saying they would hire me. I took their advice, and now I truly love what I do.
