In 1956, Lloyd moved his wife and three children from the family farm in Colorado to Culver City, California. At the start of his plumbing career, he worked two jobs to support his family. At night, he worked loading Carnation milk trucks, and by day, he was a plumbing apprentice. In 1965, Lloyd obtained his contractor's license and moved to Thousand Oaks to establish Lloyd's Plumbing.

In 1980, Lloyd retired, and his son Ed took over the business. Ed was inspired to not only be the best but also to maintain professionalism. He established clean trucks, uniformed workers, friendly customer service, and a “we can do it all” philosophy for the business.

In 2013, after working their way up since the 1990s, Ed's sons Ryan and Aaron assumed control of the family business. They are passionate about carrying on the family legacy by ensuring the highest quality plumbing services with a focus on honesty, integrity, and family values!
