Hi, I’m Stephen, a native of Birmingham, AL. My mother had a career in law, while my father was in the lumber industry. At around six years old, we moved to Shelby County, specifically Helena, AL, before moving back to Birmingham when I was almost twelve, where I attended Homewood High for two years, then we moved to Irondale, and I graduated from Shades Valley in 1991.
Following high school, I served in the Navy as an aircraft engine mechanic, and was stationed with VP-4 at Barbers Point, HI. Upon leaving the service, I entered the construction trades, collaborating with my uncles in the heating and air sector, and eventually was offered plumbing training, which I eagerly took.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, cycling on trails, going on trips, taking hiking excursions, and visiting the beach in the summer. I also engage with charities when possible, distributing food boxes to the homeless, and supporting anyone who needs assistance. I advocate against animal cruelty, and I also stand against child abuse.
