He soon became a journeyman carpenter Ron moved to Alaska in 1983, worked for two years, then went back to school for a construction trades teaching degree Having taught in the valley for three years, Ron chose to start his own business and launched The Plug Buster. For the last 22 years, Ron has been dedicated to serving the valley. In addition to all of this, he has served as an adult scout leader for 38 years
