Ron comes from a construction background His father was a construction foreman for a large contractor in Las Vegas From an early age, Ron worked alongside his father. Following high school and his LDS mission, Ron trained as an apprentice carpenter. He soon became a journeyman carpenter Ron relocated to Alaska in 1983, worked for two years, and then pursued a teaching degree in construction trades. Having taught in the valley for three years, Ron chose to start his own business and launched The Plug Buster. He has been proudly serving the valley for the last 22 years While doing all of this, he has also been an adult scout leader for 38 years
