His father was a construction foreman for a large contractor in Las Vegas Ron spent his youth assisting his father After high school and a mission for the LDS Church, he worked as an apprentice carpenter He quickly advanced to journeyman carpenter He moved to Alaska in 1983, worked for two years, then left to return to school for a teaching degree in construction trades After three years of teaching in the valley, Ron decided to go into business for himself and created The Plug Buster For the last 22 years, Ron has been dedicated to serving the valley. In addition to all of this, he has served as an adult scout leader for 38 years
