Joe is absolutely the best. Someone else tried to scam me and tell me it was going to cost $1,000 to clear my stopped up kitchen drain. Joe and his son had it clean in about 20 minutes. The price was very reasonable. They were on time, professional and friendly. I can't recommend them highly enough. Don't waste your money on some of these ""bait and switch"" mega-companies. Joe takes pride in his business and his work. Call him! Now!!!

We bought a beautiful older home a couple years ago that has been a total money pit. Jim has saved my hide on numerous occasions. One of those being an issue that 10 other plumbers from 5 companies (the big companies often sent a number of different plumbers to attempt to fix the issue to no avail). However, they did not hesitate to charge for every unsuccessful visit or opinion. One company flushed our water heater to attempt to resolve the issue, but stripped one of the fittings that secured the waterline to the top of the tank. I did not know until my outside water closet flooded the next day. The plumbing company claimed it was due to an old fitting and took no responsibility, and I had to pay a $1000 deductible for the water dry out company. By the time I found Jim at Zzyzx I was at the end of my rope. He actually worked through the unique issue with us and we were able to get it resolved. Jim is the real deal- he will not nickel and dime you or up charge you for something you may not need just to make a buck. His prices are very reasonable and if he happens to be booked out a few days or on a rare vacation, I will wait for him! If you can get Jim out for a plumbing issue count yourself lucky that you didn't have go through 10 other sub par or incompetent individuals before finding somebody who takes pride in what they do, and does it well.

We had a copper pipe inside the wall between our kitchen and dinning room start leaking and water seeping out on our floor. I went to the BBB site looking for a plumber for this emergency. I contacted ZZYZX at 5pm and Jim, the owner, arrived in less than 30 minutes. He quickly scanned the walls locating the leak cutting into the wall spot on the leak repairing it all in less than an hour. We were so thankful just before Thanksgiving to have found Jim truly our hero! Jim is our number one go to guy for plumbing needs.

Very quick to respond, came same day I called him, in the evening. Solved the issue and fixed it that night. Professional, friendly, respectful, very reasonable price. A real Pro. Great response via text even after the job was done with additional questions that I had. He wasn't stressed about getting paid, I had to remind him, so nice that his priority was fixing my problem and not getting $$. I feel fortunate that I stumbled on his business through Yelp.

This is my go-to plumber for everything. Not only is there never an upsell, he will discourage you from spending money if you don't actually NEED to.

Problems are fixed right the first time.

It can be a little tough to get on the schedule at times ... which tells me I'm not the only one who appreciates his prices and work ethic.

If there is a plumber you need to call, please call Jim! When we were inquiring about some plumbing with our new house, Jim was quick to respond to my phone call and text messages. Not only was he knowledgeable, he was able to schedule to come over the next day to evaluate. He is very easy to work with, communicates clearly, and is prompt on showing up. His work is thorough. Did I mention he is also very nice? He was able to get all of the plumbing taken care for a reasonable price. We will definitely be using him in the future if we need any other plumbing issues fixed. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM! You won't be disappointed!

If you need a plumber, call Jim. Really; call him. The communication with him before the appointment was stellar. He showed up on time (actually, just a few minutes early.. and he told me he was going to be early.) The quality of the work is first rate and his pricing easily met my expectations.
