Robb Lynch, who owns and operates Zoom Drain of Lake Norman, graduated with a bachelor's and master's in Business Administration from both Illinois State University and Northern Illinois University. Lynch grew up in Rockford, IL, a suburb of Chicago, giving him strong ties to the region.

Much of Lynch's professional journey was with a large home improvement chain. He joined the North Carolina-based company in a business development capacity, playing a key role in the brand's growth, from merchandising to product development and marketing. He also mentored emerging talent within the brand, guiding them toward successful careers.

In 2004, this position brought Lynch and his wife, who he has been married to for over two decades, to the Lake Norman area, where they quickly fell in love with the community. Lynch later transitioned to the franchisor side of a well-known automotive brand, serving as the VP of Marketing. Today, he is establishing his own brand in the same community where he once helped another brand achieve household recognition.
