What can I say except these folks are MARVELOUS SIMPLY MARVELOUS. Not the cheapest but not overpriced. After all you get what you pay for and these folks are worth worth what you pay them.

Up until today Zippy was a 5-star company from my experience with them. However, after today's experience, I'm very disappointed with Zippy's customer service and response to a water heater that failed on me today. We've used them in the past fairly frequently and were quite happy with their work and I was willing to pay more for quality work (they are not a low-cost plumbing company). After having them replace two water heaters after one failed doing about ~$10K of damage, one of the replaced water heaters failed again today. After calling Zippy to schedule service, we confirmed the unit was still under warranty over the phone, but they advised that there would be a substantial ""documentation fee"", AND a labor charge to install that was much higher than i expected (confirmed by a few phone calls to other local plumbing companies). When I challenged the documentation fee, i was told it was out of their control and mandatory, and when I challenged the labor rates they were charging for a simple water heater replacement their response was that ""after looking more closely at my address, I was out of their service area and maybe I should call another plumbing company!"" I find it very interesting that I was within their service area when i was willing to pay above market rates and the one time I challenge their rates and ask them to stand behind the products they represent and their work - they don't! I was blown away by Zippy's response, attitude and lack of customer loyalty after so many years. Proceed with eyes wide open and caution.

They came out to reseat my master bath toilet. David did an awesome job of removing the entire base bracket. He cleaned and installed a new base seat, reinstalled the toilet. He then recommended repairs to the inside parts. He then made sure it was level and straight. He then caulked around the bottom with brown caulk to match the tile. I can't believe what a great job he did. They replaced an exterior faucet and valve last year and did a great job. I highly recommend them. David was a really polite and professional guy. I appreciate that.

I've had the same plumber both times I've needed help and both times he has left me feeling as if I was taken care of. I'm awful with names but he has been fabulous. First he installed a new kitchen faucet and checked other appliances to give me an idea on any services I may need.. The second time he unclogged my shower, which others never seemed to be able to do. He loves dogs, seems very honest, and very fair. The gal in the office has always been a pleasure to talk with and schedule appointments.
I have found a company who I trust to take care of all of my plumbing needs. I went through a few but its all worth it now.

Have only needed plumbing service a few times within the past few years but each time was a serious issue.

Calling the Zebra, I was instantly skeptical as the person receiving my call appeared to be an actor. This person was friendly, polite and seemed generally concerned about my issue. She took my info and told me someone would call back shortly. (Sure they will, I thought).

Within minutes, they returned my call offering a same day appointment. (Whaaaaaaaaaat!?!)

A few moments later, (spoken in a French accent)....

One of the Zebra fellas arrived, on time, cleanly and neatly attired with a smile on his face. (A real smile. Not that cheesy 13 year old, trying to hide the forehead pimple, during Jr High picture day smile.) He assessed the situation then set to fixing the issue. No mess, no fuss and I didn't have to call them back 3 times to find out why they hadn't arrived yet!

Brett, the owner, has been by twice. On other occasions, one of his crew showed up, (Sorry I don't remember your names fellas). Each were courteous, professional and best of all, nobody attempted to upsell anything. If a part needed replacement, they replaced it.

Nobody attempted to regale me with the, ""One time I used this new plastic piece...."", story or the virtues of that new plastic piece which would fix the current problem and eliminate some non-existing issue for the low, low price of my left arm. Of course, if I acted immediately, an additional plastic piece could be added for just 3 toes more.

All joking aside, I couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable, professional, efficient and trustworthy organization. The Zebra will continue to get our business as long as we live in the valley.

I am the homeowner. If I could rate this company more than 5 stars? I would. I just can't even believe there is a negative review on here regarding Zippy Zebra. We have been using them for all our plumbing needs for many years, not just a single event. Water heater floods, slab leaks that were very difficult to find, sinks, garbage disposals etc. We recommend them to everyone who ""ever"" needs a plumber. They are reasonable, professional and don't stop until they get to the root of the problem, and have it corrected. This is a family business and everyone in the company will treat you like that. I have never had any interaction as described by the negative review and we have had some crazy emergent situations, they are ALWAYS professional and on time. This is one of the most ethical businesses we have ever dealt with.

I wanted to give a formal shout out to Zippy Zebra Plumbing.

I left him a message late last evening about an emergency repair to my water main and they call me back before 8 this morning.

They had someone out to dig by 10: 30 and repair was done by 12: 30.

Their cost was reasonable compared to other quotes that I received they were professional, courteous and quick.

I truly appreciate them getting a scheduled same day and getting the job done quickly and done well.
