I called in the morning due to an emergency. As luck would have it, the technician was available and was my house within 1 hour of my call. Paul was prompt, courteous, put his booties and mask on. He reviewed and resolved my problem within minutes. Could not have asked for anything better, other than not had the problem to begin with.

We called Zimmerman Heating with thoughts of installing a ventilating dehumidifier.

The gentleman who came out tested the air quality while looking at our system and inquiring what we would like accomplished.

We have allergies, one of them mold. Literature states a relative humidity around 45% will accomplish this. I was surprised when he stated that people from my previous home location are always wanting humidity levels lower.

He took the information he needed to present to a team for designing the layout in the attic leaving with a promise to call the following week.

The follow up was timely, but I was advised by him that there was no room in my attic to install the Ultra-Aire followed up with the advise to contact the company who installed the system to do the work.

Pleasant gentleman but poor salesmanship.

11-27-19: Have used Zimmerman for 10 years at my previous house with no issues. At my new location they have been sketchy. Had a little crack in my plastic drip tray and they wanted $2000 to replace. Ridiculous price. I am still waiting to hear when they are going to replace my blower motor they said was leaking oil. I gave them the required 50% deposit and it has been crickets ever since then and it has been over 2 weeks. Not sure if I will continue with their annual service.

1-13-2020: This process took entirely too long. Some due to poor internal company communication and some due to the wrong part coming in. I had to a second half day of work due to the wrong part coming in. The staff was kind and courteous for the most part. I was surprised that due to their internal error and me having to take an additional half a day off work that my final bill was not discounted ($100 + lost) . Up until this experience I have always had good ones with Zimmerman. Still debating if I will keep my service with them or not. Another reason I would contemplate leaving them is that their prices seem to be on the high side. $200 to build a 3x8 floor deck on my rafters in front of the unit. I did it for $20. $2000 to replace a plastic drip tray under my unit. I did it for the price of a can of flex seal.

I called late Saturday for service regarding my toilet. A plumber was there within an hour Service performed by Bill and all is well I never used Zimmerman prior to this and recommend their services.

I have been dealing with Zimmerman since moving to the area in 2004. They have always been prompt, professional and very thorough. I keep a maintenance contract with them and in the long run I believe it saves me money, also giving me piece of mind that when I needed them they were there. They may be more expensive than others out there, as people have said, but you get with you pay for and in my opinion they are well worth every penny.

I have been a satisfied customer of Zimmerman Plumbing and Heating for some fifteen (15) years...I find their service folks, their customer service people, and the products they install to be top notch. I believe you can find a lesser expensive option, but never a service with more value for the dollar.

I've had electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work done over the years, and it's always been done well.

Zimmerman came out and replaced my furnace and air conditioner this past winter. They have since been out to do a routine check on the equipment and each experience has been pleasant and extremely professional. Their's was not the lowest bid but between professionalism and quality, they were heads above the other companies I talked to. I have yet to be in contact with an employee at Zimmerman who isn't courteous and informed. Definitely worth your money.

EXTREMELY disappointed. A/C was on the fritz. I was quoted $1800 for a TXV Valve only after declining a quote for $4000-8000 for an altogether new outdoor heat pump unit (due to the ""age"" of my current unit). Chewed it over for a week or so and glad I didn't pull the trigger. Got a second opinion and was told the TXV is fine but the unit had no coolant in it at all. Couple pounds of coolant later and the A/C is working like new. I can't believe how close I was to paying 6x what I finally did after getting the second opinion. There's honest businesses out there who just grease the squeaky wheel, and then there's businesses who'll try to take you for all you've got. Do your wallet a favor, and take your business elsewhere.

Zimmerman has performed electric and plumbing work. They are extremely nice, responsive, and reasonably priced...i.e. very fair. All prices are quoted from book and is comparable to peers.
