Hired them to fix two faucets. Thought why not have them snake the drain while they're here, right? Well, they snaked the drain, and didn't fix either faucet, but charged $175. I could have done that myself in five minutes. Absolutely ridiculous.

We cannot express enough gratitude to Ziegler Plumbing and technicians Michael and Greg, for going above and beyond to clear our main drain line. First, a little back story...
We started having sewer backup into our downstairs tub (ugh, so disgusting!) This happens to us about once every year or two. We have always been able to deal with it on our own, but this time proved to be a challenge beyond what we could do. After borrowing a neighbor's 50 ft power drain auger, running it to the end, with no luck and also having to replace his cable because it got twisted ($$$), we went and rented a 100 ft power auger from a tool rental (more $$$). We took that auger out the full length, which is normally more than enough to do the job. We flushed toilets and ran water. All seemed well. Then we ran the washer, which caused the water to start backing up again. We were tired, irritated, and disgusted that we had wasted so much time and money and were still dealing with this nightmare. We decided it was time to call in the pros. We have had terrible luck with contractors, but a friend highly recommended Ziegler, so we took a chance and called them. Greg and Michael arrived promptly and were very professional and friendly.
We've never been able to find an outdoor access, so we've always had to remove the toilet downstairs in order to snake out the main drain.
Ziegler's machine was a super duper power drain auger that needed an outdoor access clean out, as it would not fit in our bathroom. When Greg and Michael realized there was no outdoor access, they assessed from under the house where the pipes went, then started digging and searching beside our front steps to find the private access. They discovered that for some reason, ours was buried under the brick steps when the house was built. Instead, they had to dig up the pipe beside the steps and create an access point there in order to do the job.
Their auger pushed through something really tough right at the very end of our line before it drains into the city line. Whatever it was, they were able to clear it and we can now do laundry and take showers again, not to mention sleep in peace, with no more sewage nightmares!
After all of that work, they didn't even charge anything extra, which is just unheard of. They also left the yard looking perfectly untouched!
Thank you Greg and Michael, for going above and beyond, and thank you Ziegler Plumbing for providing such excellent service! We're already thinking of all the plumbing jobs we are going to hire you guys to do! :-)

Chris, Jake, and William just left our house after having put in the maximum effort to unclog our septic drain. They were polite, knowledgable and efficient. We couldn't have called a better company and they are definitely who we will use for all future needs as well as refer to others.

I had a very stubborn blockage causing my two upstairs toilets to back up, clog, and gurgle over a period of a couple of weeks. waste water even backed into the shower. My local plumber came once and spent a small amount of time looking under the house for ""clean outs.""
They couldn't find the main clean out that Ziegler found very quickly. My local plumber said the vent stack or main clean out was the problem but that they didn't get on roofs. I called Ziegler and they had all the necessary tools, equipment to do any kind of job for a reasonable price. Even the owner came back a second time free of charge to make sure the main cleanout was checked after the downstairs toilet clogged. He went to the trouble of even digging up a bush to access a clean out he wanted to check. I am 100% satisfied with their work, attention to detail.
