Zesbro Water Heater and Repair

The main line water pipe to our home started leaking sometime last week. When I called Zesbro for an assessment and repair, I was initially told that it would save me time and money if I contacted a leak detector first and then called them to repair the leak. When that was done, Zesbro gave me a quote over the phone and came out the same evening to fix it!!

Not only that, but despite the fact that the detector was off by about 3 feet and the pipe was 4 feet deep instead of the standard 2 (which meant alot of extra digging for Zesbro), I was not charged more than my initial estimate! James also took the time to explain to me in detail why the detector was wrong and what I could expect from the continued lifetime of my pipe.

While he was writing up the bill for services, I asked about the cost to estimate a leak that was an inconvenience, but not critical, so I hadn't followed up on having it fixed. He offered to take a look right away and determined that a faulty seal was the source of the leak and caulked it for me at no extra charge.

James and his assistant absolutely went above and beyond to take care of us today. Much appreciated!!!

Last week, I frantically searched for a plumber that could fix a fixture ASAP. I could not get the water to turn off. I called several companies before I got a hold of ZesBro. Literally 8 minutes after I spoke with Jimmy, he was at my door and ready to get to work! He fixed the problem but mentioned that he thought the fixture might be faulty. Sure enough tonight (at 9:15 pm!) it failed again and I could not stop the water from coming out of the showerhead. I called Jimmy back and he tried to talk me through the fix over the phone. After a few moments, he said that he would be right over to look at it. And again he arrived here very quickly. He fixed the fixture once more and didn't even charge us. I cannot say enough good things about Jimmy and how he works! If you are ever in need of a plumber, this is who you should be working with!! I wish I could give him 6 stars!!

Update - 6/25 James came by my house and apologized personally. Totally unexpected but I really appreciate him coming out personally and also January apologizing via message a week ago. Kudos to Zesbro for taking customer service seriously. i'll give Zebros another chance! Changing the ratings to 4 stars for responsiveness to feedback.

Wow. What a difference a few months makes. I thought I had my plumber for life, but I guess I'll be looking for another.

I called James couple of months ago to install a PRV and kitchen faucet. He scheduled it on a Thu morning. He didn't show. Ok, no problem. We reschedule for the week afterwards, and no show again! But he called back and said he'll come later in the evening. James shows up with his worker and I show them what to install. Then James says he has to get something from his house, a part of something. Before I can ask him about the price, he takes off. Ok, no biggie right? He is going to charge me his standard hourly rate. After his worker finished in about an hour, his worker gave me the invoice. the labor cost is $325! WOW. Not only he no showed twice(I had to take off of work to meet him), he didn't tell me how much it costs before he left and charged way over his hourly rate!

I paid the bill but felt disgusted. Its safe to say we won't be calling Zesbro anymore unless it's to fix their work.

Wow, what a great company! I work up with a broken garbage disposal. I called 3 plumbers at 6:30 in the morning. ZesBro was the only of the 3 companies to call me back immediately when they opened. The others hadn't even returned my call before ZesBro resolved the problem. Even better, they didn't try to sell me a new garbage disposal that I didn't need. The plumber fixed the problem in less than 10 minutes. He showed up on time, had a great attitude and was very skillful. I highly recommend ZesBro.

Excellent customer service and was very pleased with how soon a service person was able to come by. We had a clogged shower drain which was fixed within 10 minutes. Only reason for not getting 5 stars is that it cost $100 for those 10 minutes!

I hired ZesBro plumbing to have as a backup plumber in case our plumber couldn't come in time if something happened at our house.

That being said, first hour rate was reasonable but fixing a fitting that was leaking and charging that much money? seems outrageous to me. I regret not sending him away and let my plumber fix the leak. I would've saved probably half of what he charged but wanted to be polite and not rude.

If you want a cheap, decent and good at what they do, you should find your own plumber and not so much rely on Yelp. Just because the house is located in nice neighborhood in the king county doesn't mean you can charge more.

Jimmy and the crew at ZesBro Plumbing are the best. We had main floor shower that had been leaking into our basement. We had stopped using it because two other plumbers had told us that the leak required tearing out a wall, which we just weren't ready to do. Finally, after several years, we decided we really needed to get it fixed. Jimmy and his teammate came out, found the source of the leak right away, and fixed it WITHOUT tearing into the wall. We have been using the shower for several weeks now without a single leak.

Your leak may require you to tear into a wall, but if it does, you'll know that every other potential source of the leak was ruled out before that happens. Thank you, ZesBro Plumbing!

Called for a busted service line. James came out to survey the job and provided a quote in less than a day. I called 3 other plumbers and James bid was competitive.

this was a 2 day job and James was heading to a conference so he immediately stopped the leak to help us out and then came back, as promised, after his conference to run a new service line. His crew was professional, prompt, and did a great job digging the trench, laying the new line, and putting the yard back together again as best they could.
in the end, I am very happy I called zesbro. This is the second time I have used Zesbro and they are my first choice.

I emailed them at 9:30 on a Tuesday night and received a call a few minutes later asking if I wanted it fixed ""right now"". I felt a little bad about having him come out so late but they said it would be no problem. James showed up a few minutes later and I can see why he has such high reviews. I sent a message through their webpage over the weekend. They responded back on Monday later morning and set up an appointment for the next day (my case was not an emergency). They called to let me know they were running a few minutes behind, which was thoughtful. He put on slippers in the house, did a thorough job, and the fee was appropriate. The only thing that made me hesitate was that they immediately suggested that I needed a new toilet and quoted the job. While that may be the case, that does put new customers on edge
