I would sincerely recommend to avoid this guy if possible.

Pros:
- Identified and fixed the problem in about 1.5 hours.(but the problem reappeared)

Cons:
- Charged me $425 for 1.5 hours, it's like $284/hour (even though our original agreement was $130/hour). His claim was he was the fastest plumber in Seattle and any other plumber would spend double time for the same work.
- Charged me $54 for a $6.99 parts in Home Depot.
- The problem came back in 2 weeks and I had to call another plumber to fix it.
- Had to reschedule the appointment twice as he did not show up the first time.
- Did not cleanup the messes he created.

Yes, James is good, very smart and efficient. The reviews I read here are legit! (Admit that I had wondered because there are over 100 compared to others who have just a few other have). He gave a succinct explanation of the problem over the phone and showed up like 10-15 mins. Others I have talked to, had me replaced big item without even hearing the problem. James identified a parts replacement need and left it up to me on the bigger purchase (which is still much more reasonable than a rude other I've talked to). He zipped in and out working hard and fast. I definitely will use him again and likely all other services in the future. Also love that he uses Square for credit card transaction - which shows me he is a modern business. :) There are tiny details he might miss though (like left crawlspace open, and some procedures he could have done so he doesn't have to make extra trips). These are minor though, but hence the 4 stars as room for improvement instead of 5.

Ive used him on multiple remodeling projects now, about 8 total. From installing a new tub or shower, adding bathrooms in basements, to relocating kitchens, he does it all swiftly and skillfully. I just cannot rave enough about James at ZesBro plumbing-after he left I knew I had to shout from the rooftops that Hurray, I found a plumbing contractor who was reliable, efficient, respectful, and reasonably priced. I sent him an email on a Friday night, not expecting any communication until Monday, but back and forth we wrote right then, and I got a quote by 11pm (!). On the day of our appointment at 1 pm, he called at 1:05 to tell me his GPS put him at my house at 1:22. VERY PROFESSIONAL. He took great care to lay towels where he stepped and advised me on a project I want to do in the future. VERY GENEROUS. Please support this business-there are a lot of toads out there. James has strong character.

I called ZesBro Plumbing after my first plumber was a no-show after returning back from vacation to find a house with frozen pipes and no running water. Customer service was GREAT from the minute I got on the phone. The receptionist was personable and offered me some suggestions on what to do in the meantime while she gave me the number to James for additional suggestions and scheduling. James offered some wonderful tips and said the first thing I should really do is contact the City to see if they could take a look at my water meter to see if that was the issue. I did as he said and found out that the water meter was frozen so I ended up not needing ZesBro's services at all! Their candidness and honesty is truly stellar. Even though we ended up not needing them, I would use them in a heartbeat if I have plumbing concerns in the future!

We discovered water leaking from somewhere under our bathroom tub. I called Zesbro based upon their positive Yelp reviews. James and an assistant investigated the leak and discovered the problem without too much trouble. A short while later it was all fixed. Very smart, friendly, and professional. From James in the field to January in the office, these guys are awesome!

I first got to know James as a past instructor of his at a local community college. I found him to be a mature, professional and very respectful student. Well after our time together in class ended, I had a bathroom not working and gave his company a call. James was efficient, diagnosed the problem effectively and got our family back on track in no time at all.

Recently, James came back out to fix a major sewage related problem in our house. I can't say enough good things about him and his company. James is a hard working, respectful, honest person who will do his best to educate the customer and provides fair rates for his services. I would highly recommend him to anyone who has any sort of plumbing related problems.

I bought replacement toilets from Amazon (Toto Drake II's - the best toilets on the market and saved me 40% in water usage in one month!). I was tempted to use the Amazon installation, but they wouldn't let me buy more than 3 (I had 4 builder-grade toilets replaced), so I was forced to look elsewhere. Our house was new and I was concerned that it would look like we swapped them out. James isn't the best communicator on email, but he sure knows customer service and plumbing. Since I needed 4 toilets swapped, he brought in a helper.

The two guys unboxed, staged and then replaced all 4 toilets in less than 3 hours. They wore booties or took off their shoes. Cleaned up all the boxes and took everything to recycling/dump for just a little extra. The installer spent a good deal of time cleaning and prepping each installation and even removed the promotional stickers on the tanks.

I couldn't recommend anyone more than ZesBro's plumbing. The entire process took less time and cost less than I expected. Their quote was less than Amazon's installation price and much lower than Green T (they wanted over $1100 to install all 4! and it seems they lost their license in WA state).
