I called for central air service. I was asked to send an email describing the problem, which I did. I provided two phone numbers. I was told they would come one of two nights. No calls, no show for repairs. Dissapointing.

I needed a plumber to install a dishwasher. I called Doug Zeolla, and he set up an appointment that got my schedule. Brian, the plumber who came to my house, was right on time, did a great job untangling the mess that had been left with the old machine, and left everything completely clean. He also helped me out with a sticky faucet shut off valve in one of the bathrooms.
I am going to recommend these guys to my sister, since she needs some plumbing done. Their prices are reasonable, and they work steadily while in your home. I now have a ""go to "" plumber!

We've used Zeolla twice -- once when we had a pipe burst in the middle of the night, and just recently when our hot water stopped working. They've always responded promptly, been helpful and honest about what they can and can't do, and charge really reasonable rates -- or don't charge if they don't have to do work. We'll be using them again!

We were having a problem with frozen pipes (with the awful cold we had been having). We got the pipes unfrozen, but our water pressure was not good. After trying to adjust the valves, we ended up with no water at all. My husband called Zeolla Plumbing. Instead of coming right out, they offered my husband advice over the phone for free on how to fix the problem. They saved us hundreds when they could have easily profited off of us. In this day and age, it is unusual to find a business so honest and and so willing not to capitalize off of people having issues. Thank you!!! We will totally use them when I have an issue that absolutely needs a plumber.

A home inspector reported some repairs that needed to be done before I sold my house. After one plumber failed to show for a scheduled repair, I called Zeolla Plumbing and left a message. Before the end of the day, I received a call back from Doug. His first question was do you have heat which suggested to me that if it was an emergency he was more than willing to come out the same day and take a look at boiler. Since it was not emergency, we scheduled for him to come out the next day.

Doug came out just like he promised and took a look at my boiler and thermostat. He assessed and explained the issue identified by the inspector and recommended the appropriate repairs at a reasonable price. He was responsive, fair, and took the time necessary to fix the problem.

Doug could not have been better. We talked to him on Wednesday about our heating issues and to ask about his prices. Because he was on the higher end of the minimum cost we told him we would figure out what we were going to do and call him back. Because he was so responsive, honest about pricing, and reassuring that he would take care of our heating issues we decided to hire him. We called him that Saturday morning and he was there within 90 minutes. He was so knowledgeable about our heating system, answered all our annoying first-time-homeowner questions, and fixed our heater in under 20 minutes. He was kind, down-to-earth, and funny. Most of all there were no hidden fees, just the flat rate because we didn't need parts. We'll be going to Doug for all of our plumbing and heating needs.

At first we tried this place due to the 5-star reviews and wanted to support a local business. The initial call went great, called in the evening regarding small wet stains appearing and was told someone would be right out in the morning to check it out. Plumber was on time in the morning.

Then things were a little rocky... the plumber had forgotten many of his tools, but fine. The job wasn't a big one as it was really nothing and just required some caulking so his forgotten tools didn't affect this particular job.

The terrible part starts with the payment. Along with the forgotten tools, he forgot his credit card payment reader. He old-fashionly gives a piece of paper with a price written on it and a number to call/text for payment then proceeds to say how bad he feels for charging so much for essentially no real plumbing work done. So upon hearing even his opinion, we contacted the person who's number we were given to inquire about the price (which was not pre-quoted or anything) and was rudely just told to ""keep our money and never call back"". WOW! I wasn't aware in this day and age we are not allowed to ask a simple question, especially when we were under the impression they were going to give a quote first after they ""check it out"" and they do not have a website that states CLEARLY they have a flat $150 ""service charge"" nor did they mention it on the initial call the previous evening. We wouldn't have minded sucking it up and paying $150 for simple caulking if the price was previously told to us and set in stone but we felt like we were being taken advantage of as NOTHING was discussed first and received such hostile customer service.

Doug was great to work with. He was extremely responsive every time we called. It was very affordable and you could tell everyone was genuinely invested in their work. I would recommend them to anyone!

I echo many of the other reviews: as fast, responsive and high-quality a team of professionals as I have ever seen among service contractors (or, for that matter, among most companies I have ever dealt with!). Doug Zeolla and his people truly have the ""customer first"" (oft-stated yet seldom delivered) mentality: how do we respond to someone's first call rapidly, solve their plumbing problem quickly and correctly, show up when we say we will, and keep them apprised throughout of how and why we are doing their repair. All the while with a friendly and good-natured manner (even when called 30 MILES outside of their service area!). These guys are the real deal - REALLY! - and I can unreservedly recommend them to you for all your plumbing needs. Just do Doug a favor and try to be somewhere within 10 miles of Stoughton.... :-)

My husband wanted to get a new valve for our water system. I read reviews on Angieslist and left a voice message for Doug. Literally minutes after I left the voice message, Doug called me back.

I wasn't sure if I was explaining what my husband wanted properly, but Doug knew what I meant and didn't even think less of me/talk down to me like some other contractors I have had to speak with for not knowing the proper terminology.

Anyways, Doug actually said he could swing by in the afternoon to take a look. He showed up early, which was amazing. Not only that, but he had the equipment in his truck to put a new valve on so he offered to do it on the spot.

Honestly, this was the best experience I ever had. He was personable, on time, professional, accommodating and although I did not compare prices, I thought it was very reasonable for same day service.
