Once you use Zech Plumbing, you will never use another plumbing company! From our experience, they are the BEST you will find. They are very knowledgeable, respond quickly, they are friendly and professional, they are reliable, and they are VERY reasonably priced. They do not try to talk you into services that are not needed. We have had Alex each time, and he is fabulous! We highly recommend Zech Plumbing to everyone.

We've used Zech a few times. Always good. I don't often give 5 stars.

We recently had a mysterious drip emerge under an eave, in an unusual location. The house is completely clad in wood. Jason from Zech investigated every possible source and location, but we couldn't determine the source. Rather than begin tearing into the walls, he recommended waiting a few days without using a few of our sinks to nail down the source.

When there was no change, he brought detection equipment and narrowed down the source quickly, and did the repair. John Zech accompanied him. The pinhole leak was repaired, the exterior walls patched beautifully, and the bill was very reasonable.

Further, Jason couldn't have been more polite or professional. Always a bonus when the work and the service both are exceptional. They've got an exclusive on my business and I will ask for Jason.

I had an elusive slab leak in my house recently. Zech Plumbing was able to isolate the approximate area where the leak was and suggested a bypass solution. Another plumbing company wanted to re-pipe the whole house. The bypass solution was quick and the price fair. I was very happy with their attention to my concerns since they had to jackhammer a small hole in the floor and their patience with my questions. I will definitely be using them again should I have any future problems.

John is terrific! We had a sewer line blockage that other companies quoted $1,500 to $25,000 (Not kidding- 25GRAND!) John did the job for a lot less. He was quick and efficient... the job was done in two days and we're flush again... ;-)

We got three quotes for removing roots from a sewer pipe. John responded quickly, knew what he was talking about and had local knowledge of how the pipes ran.

His guys came the next day and dug up the front yard, repaired the pipe and replaced everything very efficiently.

They were recommend by a realtor, I would certainly recommend them myself. Their price was a whole order of magnitude less expensive than the other two companies.

I'm very suspicious of the two negative reviews from people who didn't use the company and have posted very few other reviews.

I have been looking for a plumber but after seeing one of Zech Plumbing's trucks, laden with no fewer than 3 vicious bumper stickers on the back of the truck, one of which referred to our President as an ass, about 30 minutes ago here in Escondido, I think I'll keep looking.

I have to assume that they want only equally nasty people patronizing their business.

Regardless of how they feel about the President or anyone else, riding around with such ugliness on their trucks is a glaring indicator of a not-very-professionally-run company.

He arrived a bit late, but then we were their last call of the day. He was careful of the wood flooring around the clean-out and was very thorough. His answers to our question gave us confidence in his ability to diagnose our plumbing problem.

Plumbing ability may be great, but never got that far. Their receptionist is rude, unhelpful, and will not make you feel valued as a potential customer. She assumed I was another caller, contradicted their website statement of 'free estimate' and had a terrible attitude when explaining why there may or may not be a free estimate, depending on who the plumber was. What kind of answer is that? The website states free estimate. I had actually booked them despite her rudeness, due to a serious water leakage, but had to cancel after further rudeness from her. Plumbing repairs are expensive, and I will not pay to be treated poorly.
