UPDATE: What's the old saying? When it rains it pours :) The garbage disposal started leaking not long after my original review so we put in a call to Luis for help. He assessed the problem and explained possible solutions. We ended up just replacing the unit. He was able to get the new one from Home Depot and install it all on the same day. Zec & Ros to the rescue!

I'm not the handiest guy (fortunately the wife loves me despite this shortcoming). So when it came time to replace a kitchen and bathroom faucet, I thought ""Might as well get an expert to do it right the first time"".

I asked for quotes from a few different plumbers for what I figured, based on YouTube tutorials, was a pretty straightforward job. Most wanted to come onsite to provide estimates / those that did give me quotes in the $400-500+ range.

So I was really happy when Zec & Ros Plumbing gave me a flat-rate quote that was much more reasonable (like half that cost). Luis came to my home the very next day - high-quality installation - and no surprises on the cost. He even tightened up a few other bathroom faucets for me (no more wobbly shower knobs!). This is the great experience that comes to mind when I think of a true, local plumber, and I'll be working with Zec & Ros again if I ever have any future plumbing issues.

I called around to several companies and had a hard time reaching anyone to begin with, and anyone I reached couldn't get to my urgent issue until the next day at the earliest.
Zec and Ros answered right away and got to my house within 20 min. It took less than 20 minutes to fix the problem. He was very friendly and polite. He also wore a mask and put on shoe covers before entering my apartment. Super pleased!!

Luis not only came and replaced my heater the same day it broke, but he was able to inform me that I did not need to replace it with a ""short"" model - I could use a ""regular"" model. Sometimes you inherit other people's mistakes in a building and this is a correction that will improve things for the next decade of use.
