Peter was friendly, honest respectful and very professional. Showed up on time and got the job done. I'm absolutely happy I found him ! I would use him again and will tell all my friends about what a great job he did!

I called Peter this morning.. He showed up on time and with an outstanding price for our faucet that just went out. He was very cordial and professional even amongst my 3 youngest children. I would highly recommend him to any and all!!!

Tommy & Zefa are the only ones who apprently dealt with the same Peter that I had come over today to replace a water valve and 2 hose bibs. Honestly the positive reviews don't sound like the same person and they aren't very recent. I regret that I didn't check Yelp reviews before hiring him. This guy was beyond unprofessional. As a real estate broker I've dealt with many contractors and none have been so negative and abrasive as working with Peter. I am usually open to dealing with someone who may be a bit off putting initially or socially abrasive in hopes that they are a quality craftsman but in the case of Peter Zazzara you get the worst of both worlds.
He was initially a bit condescending over the phone about my repair needs I decided to proceed since he said he would do the job the same day (should have just used my local plumber McKeown). I sent him photos and we discussed the cost of the job and he gave a rough estimate of $250 subject to change. I figured that was OK as I realize its difficult to quote a job over the phone but at least had a ballpark. Prior to his arrival I turned off the water to the house and ran the faucets in the home so there would be less water flow going to the main valve allowing him to work in a more timely fashion.
Prior to his arrival he called stating he couldn't locate the property and proceeded to cuss & complain to me over the phone about not being able to find the house as if it was my fault (Google Maps much?) As I stood out in the middle of the road to help him find the house he decided to drive the wrong way on a 1 way street to get to the house rather than go around the block.
I continued to help him in anyway I could to get the job done and after about 10 mins he said the job would cost $350 plus $75 in parts $425 total. OK I reluctantly though but his bitching and moaning only continued. He worked in a very rushed manor which is a bit disconcerting. It's not a race, you want to know that care is being taken to assure the job is done correctly. Peter is completely unaware of how this comes across to a customer. Everything was an annoyance and an inconvenience to him yet I still made myself available to help him. Then he apparently forgot a part he needed to complete the job. My wife was out at the store and I offered to have her pick up the part at the nearby hardware store but Peter insisted he could figure out a way to make it work. As he attempted to weld the pipe fitting he need help so I held a piece of metal as he attempted to blowtorch a seal on the valve. I kinda felt like I was acting as an apprentice at that point but I'm usually happy to help. Turns out his ""fix"" wasnt working and water was still leaking from the main valve. Unfortunately by this time my wife was back from her errand. I told him there was a hardware store about a mile away but rather than get the part he needed he said he would figure it out...super reassuring. Huffing and puffing Peter then apparently found a part in his truck that would ""work"" but wanted to charge an extra $10 for this ""found"" part. Not the part he asked for but one that would work. That was it for me. He is super proud of using only American parts which I am supportive of but his demeanor and professionalism doesn't match the quality product he purports to use. Funny to read he rents tools from Home Depot as he told me he doesn't mess with *stuff* from there.
TLDR: Don't use this guy. Left a total mess after the job. Cusses throughout the job. Charges more during the job. Makes you feel bad for hiring him. Lesson learned.

When Peter arrived out toilet was clogged and was causing water to back up into the tub. When Peter left the toilet was flushing. What happened in between was no bueno.
Admittedly after looking at these reviews, Peter may be your guy for work but for cleanouts I would look for someone else.
As another review mentioned Peter does not display awareness for cleanliness nor respect the home of his customer, at least he did not in our case. He left prints from his sludge soaked gloves on our toilet, washer machine and screen door amongst other places. He used our water hose to clean the snake in the front yard and left the debris on the driveway in addition to not properly cleaning the cement near the drain that he cleaned out.
His language and demeanor of hating the task at hand leaves allot to be desired. Thankfully my children were not around to hear his choice of words as he struggled with the snake he rented from Home Depot or as he failed miserably to get the cover off of the clean out. His incompetence was such that I had to assist and hold the cart of the snake while he fed the clean out and help as he retracted the snake since he failed to rent a unit with a reverse option because it would have cost him an additional $20 to rent. Prior to me helping his elbow was cut open by the power auger because he got too close to the revolving parts.
I understand that quoting a job via phone is not an exact science but by no means do I feel that Peter earned the $325 I paid for the 45 minutes of work he did. I understand he has a two hour minimum but I am not aware of plumbers changing over $150 an hour. Not to mention he asked for a deposit before he began work??? I told him he will get paid upon completing the job, this is not a multi day project nor one where materials are needed. This is not a job where a deposit is required.
Again I see lots of reviews stating his rates are fair and that he did great work. All of that may be true but in my case the process to get our toilet flushing turned south real quick, required me to help and left a mess at our home.
Best of luck!

There are four things that that you should be aware of when calling Peter Zazzara for the job. I had called him to install the pedestals on the washer and dryer and then fix up the water lines.
1. He will not care for the customer's property. He scratched my washer, scratched my the travertine floor, and also broke one of the 4 stands of the pedestal on the washer. At the end, he just commented that ""don't worry"" no one is going to see that.
2. He will be cussing through the job. It almost seemed like he was being forced to do the job, instead of completing the work and making customers happy. If you have children in the house, make sure they are not around. He is loud when he is cussing.
3. He does not give you a receipt. You do not have any recourse if the job fails.
4. He will ask for more money after completing the job. I already gave him 25% more than what was originally quoted. He demanded for 20% over the amount that I have him.
He was not professional at all. I have a high tolerance for mishaps during contracting working. However, his attitude was out of line and something that no one should deal with when you are paying someone to do a job. I would not recommend him for any job.

Had another slab leak & it was clear it was time to re pipe.
Called Zazzara plumbing & Peter picked right up.
No nonsense guy, he came out to the house gave a great bid & finished the job for the price he quoted & on time.
I'll be calling again next time we need plumbing work.

Peter was contacted at 9:00 AM Saturday morning, I had a water heater that needed to be replaced. Peter was at our home within hours and he replaced our water heater. First , he answered his phone, Peter updated as needed, supplied photos and a detailed invoice. I would highly recommend using this company! Peter is a seasoned professional in his field and due to that this job was completed flawlessly. We now have Peter as our reliable Plumber that we know we can count on!

Peter saved the day for me. I had a new shower installed by another contractor who completely botched up the installation of my very expensive German shower system twice. Peter came in knew exactly how to install it because of his years of experience. He's honest, friendly and most importantly knows what he's doing. I highly recommend him and would not hesitate to use him for all my plumbing projects. Thank you Peter!

We called Peter and he showed up on Saturday day to to give us an estimate to repipe our house. He did a great job and finished on time. We are vey pleased with him and highly recommend him.

I have some very gross pictures, which I will use when I take Peter Zazzara to the small claim court.
I don't know plumbing, but I know that our drain should not have overflowed the day after Peter's ""professional plumbing work"".
He came out fast, but left even faster, leaving us a bigger problem. Worst part is, he knew it, but he covered it up.
Can I tell you how stinky my house smell right now? So as my family members?
I would like to have Peter Zazzara to see our place, just a look of what he had done.
Any Professional Ethics?! Where else can I complaint?
