Heroes Don't Always Wear Capes

Brian Zax the owner came to my rescue when I had a leak in my basement coming from my first floor bathroom. He showed up on a Saturday morning, expediently. He got the job done pretty quickly as well. Brian was a personable and professional plumber, who was reasonably priced as advertised. I highly recommend him for any plumbing needs.

Brian and his team did a beautiful job on my gut renovation powder room. He was a pleasure to work with from day one, answering all my questions and advising me. He never pressured me with upsells. His guys Chris and John were friendly and courteous. My husband and I both work from home and they did their best to keep a quiet and clean environment. John, who does carpentry, is a perfectionist- takes great pride in his work and it shows. When another vendor came in and shifted the tiles which hadn't yet fully set, Zax re-did the tiling completely, without any questions. In fact, when a tile couldn't be salvaged, they went all the way to the Porcelanosa warehouse in NJ to buy a replacement. Brian even found a wallpaper guy for me- no other contractors I spoke too even thought to suggest that. They were super patient when we had delays with fixtures. Brian is honest and reasonable, and I love my new bathroom!

Thank goodness I've found Zax!

One of the hardest things in life is finding an honest, reliable and professional plumber. Zax is all those things and more! They have done plenty of projects in my home (as part of larger projects) but today they came to replace my water heater. Right from the start they were transparent and now that the job is done (they spent close to 9 hours here) I am completely satisfied and will recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber.

I called them to give me estimate about my leakage. After he checked he was asking me for 175 and he never told me before that there is going to money for estimate. He also broke my ceiling in my closet While checking the pipe.

I called this service yesterday regarding some waste line and discharge issue under the sink in the kitchen. I quickly learned that they wouldn't be able to help us because of our location (they generally don't come to the city and it was my fault that I didn't check their location before I contacted them), however, the gentleman that was on the other line was kind enough to answer some questions I had even though I wasn't gonna be able to request their service and pay them. If you're in Long Island area and need a plumbing service, you should try this place!
