I had my downspout bath tub faucet leaking a few years ago . I called American Home Shield, My home insurance . They gave me Zack's plumbing. The plumber came. He said he will come back to bring the broken part. He never came back.
I was charged by Zack plumbing for a work that was not finished.
I called another plumber to fix the leak . I paid from my own pocket. The insurance representative said that they can't change the service provider. "" the customer has no power to change the provider assigned to them. . This is their policy They can't change it,

Bait and switch do not use Zack's a liar! Zack stood in my kitchen yesterday, sent by American home shield to diagnose an issue with my faucet. He told me one thing even said he could come back Wednesday to replace it and ask me which finish I wanted for a new faucet and then sent a completely different report to the warranty department who now will not replace my faucet. Do not let him in your home.

Great interaction. Stephany in the office kept me in the loop re: status and was very accommodating working an appointment into my schedule. Zack was right on time, corrected the issue with my garbage disposal immediately. Very informative with next steps if any issues...which I doubt....all good again. I would highly recommend. Zack's Plumbing came out and made 3 repairs in our bathroom. The faucet was denied with the warranty company but everything else was done to perfection! The job was completed on time and very professional. I don't know how any of the other reviews could be honest. We will hire him any time we need work done! Stephany, the dispatcher, was also excellent! She worked with our schedule to get the work done in a timely manner!

Run, don't walk, away from using Zack's. They were sent by my insurance company for four issues. In the end, they fixed none of them (too much work for them so they denied three of four rather than owning the issues), and, the one they did attempt to partially fix was made worse by their efforts. I've had to fight with the insurance company to bring in another capable plumber (who accepted and fixed all issues easily and in short order). Bottom line, Zacks will look for any way to avoid doing work but still get paid for the call. Don't accept the assignment to this plumber from your insurance company and definitely don't hire them on your own. They either can't or won't do more than you are capable of doing yourself (really not sure because they denied or opted out of anything requiring plumbing skill). For anything more challenging call a plumber who's more then a light weight handyman.

WATCH OUT IT'S SUCH A BAD COMPANY. Before they run out of business on their own sooner or later, be really carefully and don't fall for their scams.


We had a leaking faucet in the bathroom. The contractor was arranged by American Home Shield. The contractor partially fixed the issue, said he would order the necessary parts and follow up to fully fix the issue.


The contractor never followed up and mark the service request as complete without my consent.


I requested a follow-up appointment from AHS website, and never heard back from anybody.


I called AHS customer service multiple times and they promised they had taken actions and the contractor would reach out to follow up.


I received no follow-ups from nobody.


I called the contractor many times, no one ever answers the phone. I was finally able to get in touch with them through texts. They told me the issue was fixed and if I needed the follow-up I would pay for a new service request. I tried to clarify with what the contractor told me last time when they left without fixing the issue that THEY WOULD FOLLOW UP AND FIX IT, the person just ignores my message and never replies.


It's such a bad experience and I cannot believe the contractor treated their customer this way. They are incapable of solving issues, and lied to your face when it's convenient to them. They run dishonest businesses and are just in it for the money.


Now I still have a broken faucet. At least I know who to avoid next time. Of course, I will not be a return customer.

Zacks plumbing company was the contractor assigned by home warranty First American to fix my leaky faucet . Zack is the plumber came out to my house three times and a month later and I still have the same leaky faucet . The repairs he performed did not fix the problem and he refused to warranty his work .

He also took video inside my home without my knowledge or consent which is invading my privacy . I am now afraid he had placed cameras in my home . He should lose his license . If you search zacks plumbing foster city on google his reviews are under ""water heater solutions and plumbing "" which is his previous company name according to the contractor state license board he had many similar complaints from his former company and now his new company name too
