I want to warn folks thinking of hiring Zabivay for plumbing handy work. Here's the summary:
* hired Zabivay to install drain systems on 2 ikea sinks. The agreement was to install the drain systems so the vanity drawers would close.
* He said he had done this many times and was no problem. We were away and had another
contractor install the sink and vanity. We were not able to see the final, completed work.
* He charged me $540 for this work.
* We immediately rented out the apartment for 2 months and did not hear complaints from the
renters. After they moved out and we walked through, we saw the problems.
* I contacted Zabivay about the work and he was not willing to correct the work.
* I had to hire another handyman, who did excellent work (Dave, at Elegant Design) to fix this
work. He explained this was plumbing 101:
- buy a longer pipes so the drain system would be farther back, so the drawers would close
- this was not $540 worth of labor.

I've attached photos of Zabivay's work and Dave's corrected work, as well as my email conversation with Zabivay to show our communication and Zabivay's willingness to correct his work.

For plumbing handywork, I would not recommend Zabivay. Call Dave, he does great work and charges fairly.

Eugene responded to my message within 20 minutes, and was at my door shortly after.

He was ready so fast that I hadn't made up my mind about upgrading the outlet, so he agreed to come back when I was ready.

Would definitely hire again.

Extremely disappointed! Made a reservation for Saturday at 3:00 through Yelp messages. Everything worked out well. Unfortunately, Saturday came, and by 3:15 there was no handyman around or a call/text message saying where he's at. Nada. At 3:25 I called the owner, who then said 'let me look at the diary (already a bad sign), then said that his handyman is stuck in traffic (in NJ)..ok, it happens- when can he be here? Ammm- not today (or today at 8:00 pm- but who's doing work at 8:00pm??). I did get ab apology and was offered to have a visit on Sunday morning but I already had plans and needed someone for Saturday (which thankfully I found at the very last minute). Bottom line- unprofessional!

Found Eugene here on Yelp. Set up my appointment over Yelp messaging, super easy and he was immediately responsive. He showed up exactly at the agreed time, and installed my ceiling fan perfectly. I will be calling this guy for work around my house all the time now.

Highly recommend his work. Had to exchange all of my 2 prong outlets to a 3 prong and he gave me a very reasonable quote and did his work swiftly. Thankfully they also service part of Brooklyn and I'm very happy with my outlets.

I reached out to several plumbers to get a quote and he was the only one to respond so promptly. He messaged back within a few minutes and by the next morning at 10am he showed up and fixed the faucet in my shower. Awesome!

I contacted Zabivay to get a price quote on some home services I needed. Lui C., whom I believe is the owner, messaged me back and I gave him a list of work I needed done. He gave me a price quote that was more than fair and sent someone to me within two days, with no problem. Eugene arrived and began working immediately. We had him do the following:

1. Mount three TVs
2. Assemble two sofas that were 58"" long
3. Install two shower rods into stone wall
4. Install two bedroom curtain rods
5. Fix the lock on a door

He did all of this in just under three hours! I was amazed and would hire him for any future jobs I have. Highly recommend these guys, as I feel super relived to have had this work done so quickly. I was worried about having so much to do and no one to do it and this company saved us! Five stars!!! Did I mention he did this all in three hours? Awesome.

Eugene was awesome! I needed fixing if light fixtures, dimmers and outlets that weren't working that my contractor screwed up with. He responded to my message right away and said he could be at my apt in 2 hours for a free consultation. He was prompt and so efficient and really knew his stuff! He brought his tools and was able to start he work on the spot! He fixed everything that I needed to be fixed on about an hour. He is going to come back next week to put up blinds and install a new door bolt lock for me. He is so reliable, professional and affordable. I'm going to recommend him to my family and friends and my neighbors. I had a bad experience recently with other contractors - if only they were all like Eugene!!

I needed a quick response for a water leak, and Eugene was super responsive! I had him come back a week later for some drywall patching and painting, and again he was excellent. He is a great handyman to have around!
