Eugene promptly called me to let me know when he'd arrive. He is a pleasant person, who is less talkative (which is great)! He got straight to work and finished up a few things relatively quickly. He was so fast that my friend came in and gave him another job same day. He will be my go to for handy work moving forward.

These guys were in at 9:25 & finished at 9:55 to fix a leaky shower head & faucet. Gave me a quote of $175. Had couple of quotes of $375 for same repair. Job well done & professional. Eugene was great. To the point, responsive, and fast. The water valve to my toilet was corroded and he cut, soldered, and replaced it quickly. Seriously quickly, I had barely gotten my daughter up from her nap and having a snack before he already had the water back on. I had called another guy the week before and am still waiting on a response. I called Eugene and he came in 1.5 hours, just like he said. No 5 hour window!!! The price was not cheap but not outrageous either; it was fair. He is in NYC, and he does deserve compensation for a job well done!

My husband and I hired Zabivay to fix a problem with our shower (the water never got hot) a few weeks back. We directed him to the wrong pipe to shut off water which resulted in a surprising flood! He tended to the problem quickly and thoroughly, and handled our freakouts with patience and compassion, and without defensiveness, though it was clearly not his fault. Now, after 3 years of tepid showers in the dead of winter, we can finally take hot showers!

Eugene was right on time and very professional. He securely hung a medicine cabinet through marble tile in the bathroom (he came prepared with a drill bit for marble). He also hung 3 ceiling fans securely. We ran into an issue with 2 loose electrical boxes, but he ran to the hardware store and got the parts we needed. With some thought, he was able to fix the issue without having to cut into the ceiling sheetrock and finish the job. Highly recommend, and will be using him for future jobs.
